Warranty Policy – Jama Safety Shoes

This Warranty Policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions of sale of products sold under the brand Jama Safety (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By purchasing and using Jama Safety footwear, the customer agrees to the terms outlined below.

  1. Warranty Coverage

All Jama Safety footwear products are covered by a Limited Warranty of One (1) Year from the date of invoice.

This warranty applies strictly to manufacturing defects arising under normal industrial use and conditions.

Covered defects include:

  • Sole bonding failure due to manufacturing fault
  • Stitching defects
  • Defects in eyelets, hooks, or attached hardware
  • Structural sole cracking not caused by external damage
  • Safety toe cap displacement (where applicable)

This warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original purchaser.

  1. Nature of Warranty

This is a limited warranty and does not cover all damages or conditions. The Company’s obligation under this warranty is strictly limited to one of the following remedies, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair of the defective product
  • Replacement with the same or equivalent product
  • Issuance of credit note or refund

No other compensation shall be provided.

  1. Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty shall not apply in the following cases:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Abrasion, cuts, burns, punctures, or impact damage
  • Chemical exposure or environmental damage
  • Improper usage, misuse, negligence, or abuse
  • Failure to follow product care instructions
  • Improper storage conditions
  • Unauthorized repair, alteration, or modification
  • Size-related discomfort after usage
  • Damage resulting from accidents or external forces

The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage that does not affect product performance.

  1. Claim Procedure

To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must:

  1. Submit a written request via email to the Company’s official support email.
  2. Provide:
    • Copy of original invoice
    • Order details
    • Clear photographs showing the alleged defect
    • Description of the issue

The Company reserves the right to request return of the product for physical inspection before approving any claim.

Failure to provide required documentation may result in rejection of the claim.

  1. Inspection and Determination

All warranty claims are subject to technical evaluation by the Company’s quality team.

The Company’s decision regarding:

  • Whether a defect exists, and
  • Whether it qualifies as a manufacturing defect

shall be final and binding.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.
  • The Company shall not be liable for loss of profits, business interruption, or third-party claims.
  • Total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
  1. No Additional Warranties

Except as expressly stated herein:

  • No other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are provided.
  • No dealer, distributor, agent, or employee is authorized to modify or extend this warranty.
  1. Governing Law

This warranty shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the Company’s registered place of business.
